The South Tyrolean Wine Museum
How could it be otherwise that the South Tyrolean Wine Museum is located in the traditional wine village of Caldaro. In this museum you will learn how viticulture was previously practiced. Through various exhibitions, you will learn about the cultivation of wine from the past to today. More than thirty plants grow in the vineyard, partly old local native vines, which can be tasted in autumn.

The Messner Mountain Museum in Sigmundskron Castle
The castle explains the world of the mountains and the people who populate them. The museum offers tours and fixed routes for visitors. A tour leads around the "Holy Mountain" called "Kora", a tour according to the Tibetan tradition, among sculptures, stuffed animals, symbolic objects, photos and images - the memories of numerous expeditions around the world. The castle and the black steel structures on the towers serve as a stage. The White Tower is the only non-designed area dedicated to the history of the castle and the recent history of South Tyrol.
The South Tyrolean archaeological museum in Bolzano:
Ötzi, the ice man and his equipment are the heart of the entire exhibition. The events surrounding the discovery, rescue, subsequent excavations and clinical investigations are reconstructed in detail using interactive displays, photos, films and multimedia stations.
Civic Museum of Bolzano
This museum has important historical-artistic collections among the richest of its kind in South Tyrol. These include valuable archaeological finds, medieval and Gothic art, and a notable display of traditional costumes. Here you can visit many folk art objects of the Sarentino Valley, the Isarco and Pusteria and an archaeological collection of the settlement of the local alpine area from the Mesolithic to late antiquity.

The Mercantile Museum and the Mercantile Building in Bolzano
In this museum the history of the economic development of the city is told and a rich collection of documents, paintings and furnishings is preserved. The Mercantile Palace is the only example of Renaissance and Baroque architecture in the narrow urban fabric of Bolzano and was the first seat of the Mercantile Magistrate and from 1851 of the Chamber of Commerce.

The Museum of Natural History of South Tyrol in Bolzano
This museum offers the visitor a historical, cultural and scientific tour of South Tyrol, where the formation and characteristics of the mountainous regions and valleys are presented. The museum's focus in research and cataloging lies in the fields of geology, botany and zoology. In addition to the permanent exhibition, which also includes live animals and a coral reef aquarium, the museum also displays various traveling exhibits and educational activities.
The gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle in Merano
The gardens stretch out on a sunny slope above Merano; in the center of the castle, which houses the National Tourism Museum.
The gardens are open from April 1st to November 15th and display a colorful variety of flowers, plants of all kinds and even various flora rarities. More than 100,000 plants in more than 3000 different species have been planted in the four different areas of the plant to date: I Giardini del Sole, Boschi del Mondo, Aquatic Gardens and Terraced Landscapes of South Tyrol. Multimedia show on the birth and development of the plant world, the geological mosaic, orchid house and the Japanese garden can be visited and discovered at the gardens.
